Skye Forensics offers cognitive assessments to objectively measure mental health and mood disorders
As part of Skye Forensics, it is standard practice to objectively check up on areas such as memory, attention, reasoning, and verbal ability—all cognitive abilities you need to function optimally in everyday life. It’s not a test—it’s a quick checkup on how you’re doing today, like a blood pressure cuff for your brain.
We all have a subjective idea of how our brains are doing—some days we feel “off” or have “brain fog,” while other days we feel like we can take on the world. But how much better are we on the good days? Are lifestyle or health changes making a difference? That’s where cognitive assessment comes in. By putting a number to these subjective feelings, we can discover what is causing the good days in order to have more of them. When your brain is performing, every activity in your daily life will be easier, from remembering where you parked your car to doing your taxes.
CBS Health: An Engaging and Scientifically-Validated Cognitive Assessment Platform
Skye Forensics uses a leading cognitive assessment platform, CBS Health, to quickly measure brain health. Your healthcare practitioner will offer these measures to assess, monitor, and manage core areas of cognition to ensure that your [treatment / wellness program] is on the right track.
The CBS Health tasks have been validated by decades of scientific research, and are proven to measure the most important aspects of cognition. Performance is directly linked with the areas of your brain that are active when you’re at your sharpest. But more importantly, the tasks are fun, and only take 1.5 – 3 minutes each to complete. Now, not only will you feel better, but you can objectively track how your brain is faring.
Skye IVF Fertility specializes in various types of medical services. These services are categorized as follows:
“Dr Woods has never made me regret my decision to seek therapy for the first time. His most appealing quality is his relatability and his lack of judgement. He is exceptionally kind, patient, and compassionate and there is no doubt of his passion for his profession – it’s immediately evidenced in the care he provides. In our time together, I’ve discovered emotional triggers, personal likes and dislikes, and am coming to learn, know, and love myself despite my very flawed life. I will continue to see him and would recommend him to anyone from any walk of life.”
“Dr. Woods is patient, focused on hearing and healing. He helps me to think through goals and ways develop plans for myself to reach them. I feel like we have worked together for years already.”
“I have been seeing Dr. Woods for close to 2 years. He has been an incredible help and a teacher to me in various aspects of my life. He communicates honestly, talks about the problems thoroughly, listens patiently and gives great advice to improve my life. I would highly recommend him.”
“Dr. Woods is knowlegeable, kind and very welcoming. He has helped me a lot and makes me feel like I have someone on my side. He is aware of how hard life can be for people of color and sympathizes.”
“Nathaniel A. Woods, Jr, is a wonderful doctor, he really cares, and he makes sure that you are ok.”
“Dr. Woods is an amazing person and really seems to care about you as an individual. He made me feel valued and listened intently while also making the appointment feel like a two way conversation instead of me just talking to a wall. I’m always nervous about seeking treatment but by the end of my first session I felt like I was talking to a friend. As a veteran, I highly recommend him to any other vets or first responders or anyone really with a traumatic past.”
“Dr. Woods is great, I found myself opening up within the first within the first few visits. He’s really easy to talk to and genuinely cares about helping his clients !!”
“I feel like doctor woods is more of a best friends than my doctor at times. I feel like I can really be personal and speak about anything that’s on my mind. I’ve had a couple therapists in the past but I’ve never had one like him where I could really open up to.”
